"Chris and I laugh that we wouldn’t have made it to the church on time were it not for Lauren, but it’s really not a joke. I lost track of time and my bridesmaids were oblivious, all in the mirrors, applying more lipstick. Lauren, who was documenting everything while somehow being such a subtle presence that you didn’t notice you were being photographed, realized that if we were going to make to the venue before the guests, we needed to move. She communicated that with an urgency no one could argue with. We only barely made it and still had to sneak in a side door to avoid being seen. As I look through these photos, I see so many little moments she captured so beautifully. Of all the things that can go wrong at a wedding, not hiring Lauren is about the worst. In our case, who knows when I would have made it there! And we wouldn’t have hundreds of beautiful, funny, artful, tender, vibrant images of all our friends and loved ones to keep with us forever." ~Jennymarie
