Lauren is an absolute godsend! She has an incredible artistic eye with equally matched talent. I booked Lauren to photograph my wedding (12/8/13) but since we're based in Houston and she's located in Austin, she happily connected with us over Skype. Over the course of our Skype call, I could tell immediately that Lauren was attentive, professional and super organized. I shared with her my style and she went above and beyond our expectations. I don't know how she managed to be so many places at once during the wedding! She took so many amazing photos- each one being high, magazine quality style.

We used Lauren's services for our Engagement pictures and destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and couldn't be happier. Everyone compliments our photographs and the beauty in Lauren's work. I told her ahead of time that my fiance wasn't very photogenic and she gave us tips throughout our sessions to help with our facial expressions, and our pictures turned out great. I also had ideas for specific pictures and shared my thoughts with Lauren and she was able to combine her skills and my vision beautifully. 

I did a lot of research on choosing a local photographer (i.e. in Mexico) versus taking a photographer to your wedding, and I would recommend taking your photographer because we felt more comfortable and were able to develop a relationship with Lauren after a great experience during our engagement pictures. Plus, Lauren has destination wedding experience and our photos turned out amazing! She was clearly knowledgeable about differences in indoor/outdoor lighting and everything else that you have to think about related to destination weddings. 

For our destination wedding, we chose the package that included Lauren and a second photographer and I would highly recommend that if it is feasible for you because it allows them to capture different perspectives at the same time. For example, my hubby's expression as I was walking down the aisle.  Lauren was also great at coming up with ideas for family photos and bridal party pictures. 

Lauren is based out of Austin and we live in Dallas, but the fact that we were not located in the same city didn't make a difference. Lauren was quick to respond to e-mails and extremely professional. I could go on and on about how pleased we are but don't think there is anything else to say besides you won't regret your choice with Lauren Reynolds Photography.

She's been our family photographer for more than 7 years - from the time our first little one was still in the belly with a maternity shoot, to newborn photos of both kids, and yearly family shoots as our family continues to grow. Lauren is amazing!! She did our engagement and bridal portraits as well as shot our wedding. When it came to the portraits, she was stellar at finding new, unique, and beautiful places for us to take the pictures. She did such a good job of making us feel at ease, and her posing is immaculate. We were nervous at first as we are not used to being in front of the camera, but she did a great job of relaxing us.

Lauren is also a total sweetheart, which was so important on the day of the wedding since she basically acts as your shadow. She caught every single moment of our big day, down to the sweet dance moves being broken down on the dance floor. She was also so fast when it came to family pictures that we actually had time to enjoy the cocktail hour. She even pulled us aside during the dinner so that we could take sunset pictures, which turned out to be some of my absolute favorite. I would recommend Lauren to anyone, she was incredible!

We feel so blessed that Lauren Reynolds was our wedding photographer. We were very specific when it came to photography because, for us, it was the most important choice in a vendor. 

We live in Orange County, CA, surrounded by highly rated wedding photographers, but none of them could hold a flame to Lauren's photos. She captured the true spirit of our wedding. We flew her out from Austin, TX, and we're SO thrilled we did! She didn't miss a moment! Not only are her photos amazing, but she was SO great with all the guests. She made what would usually feel like a posed photo, feel natural. She was very low key and non-intrusive. During the cocktail hour we did the traditional group photos, and she was so fast, yet the photos were perfect!
